Overall Responsibilities

Support the Grace Church staff and the Facility Campus Lead by ensuring rooms are set for all meetings, classes, and events taking place on campus.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Pelham Operations Director, ensure rooms are set for all meetings, classes, and events taking place on campus.

  • Providing basic maintenance as directed by the Pelham Operations Director and Central Facilities staff.

  • Providing support to the staff of Grace church from a facilities standpoint 

  • Be on call during the worship service you attend. Responsible for fixing or letting the right person know about any observed problems

  • Ensure the campus is ready for weekend worship. Make any changes needed.

  • Build a volunteer facility to cover the weekend services and communicate all weekend setup needs

  • Communicate with Pelham Operations Director each week about any facilities issues identified over the weekend

  • Integrate with Pelham staff to identify facility issues and present a strategy to the Operations Director 

  • Work closely with Pelham Events Coordinator to organize facility needs for outside events as needed

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff and volunteers

Requirements

  • Ability to perform manual tasks as follows, but not limited to:

    • Must be able to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, such as fixing minor issues around the property or equipment.

    • Climb and work on a ladder

    • Lift 50 pounds on your own

    • Physical stamina and dexterity to work a full shift

    • Meet job scope minimum requirements

  • Above-average communication and interpersonal skills
