Students Spotlight | Parables Series

One of the central facets of our student ministry is teaching our teens to study and apply God’s Word. In the coming weeks, our Forge high school students will dive into a new series called Parables. This series will help our students to learn all about parables, their purpose, and how Jesus used them to disciple his people around a particular issue. 

Through weekly reading, teaching, and discussion, this material will survey the gospels and touch on parables from the Lost Sheep to the Mustard Seed. Each lesson prepares students for the weekend teaching and will present them with an overview of a parable, Scripture reading, and questions for personal reflection. Students will be challenged to consider both the somber warnings and steadfast hope uncovered in Jesus’ words.  

We are praying that our high school students will find this new curriculum to be an encouragement and a means of captivating their hearts as they study God’s love for us through his Son.
