This role supports the daily operations of the coffee house by assisting the Manager with staff supervision, training, inventory, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate is an experienced barista and team leader who is patient, collaborative, and committed to developing employees while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Specific Responsibilities
Assist in running the coffee house
Assist in training and developing the employees
Support the Manager with managerial tasks (inventory ordering, maintenance, and marketing)
Assist in developing employees in their skills and personal growth
Work closely in a supervisory role with staff members
Providing feedback to ensure that staff are providing the best experience possible to customers
Assist in monitoring budgets to ensure that the coffee house remains profitable. Actively find ways to lower operational costs while expanding the coffee house’s customer base
Monitor and maintain inventory
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Preferred background as a barista and coffee house experience
Experience leading and managing a team
Preferred Skills
Works well with others and is patient
Understands the way a coffee house is run with coffee-making experience
Is humble and could work with individuals with special needs
