As a church, we seek to foster an environment where parents are equipped with biblical principles and encouraged in community as they take responsibility for developing and discipling their children. While there is no secret formula for parenting, this eight-session class will present fundamental principles to help parents cultivate connection, humility, and responsibility in their young children. On April 18, we’ll gather to discuss two important parenting topics designed specifically for parents of children ages 1–10. First, we’ll talk about the work of being a child and how parents can give age-appropriate responsibilities. Then, we’ll explore helicopter and lawnmower parenting—what these approaches look like and how to navigate them with wisdom and balance. We hope you’ll join us from 9:30–11:00am in the Worship Center for this meaningful and practical conversation.
