We will be serving our local Senior Honor partner, Dominion Senior Living, throughout the spring & summer for Just Serve this year. Please look at the various ways to serve including different days, times, and options below. 

Socials

• The last Friday of the month | 2:30-3:30pm
• These are great opportunities to interact with the staff and residents. These are family-friendly and kids are welcome to serve.

PALS - People Actively Loving Seniors

• We are actively looking for volunteers to help start PALS at Dominion.
• This volunteer opportunity would ask a volunteer to come twice a month to spend time with one resident.
• These meetings can be flexible and created to work with your monthly schedule.

Bible Study (weekly)

• We are actively looking for volunteers to help start a weekly Bible study for residents.
• This would be an opportunity to create a rhythm of spiritual growth and discipleship within Dominion’s weekly calendar.
• If you have previous Bible study experience please consider volunteering in this area. 

Activities (weekly) 

• We are actively looking for volunteers to come alongside current activities and start new weekly activities for residents.
• These include (but are not limited to): crafts, working puzzles, and nail painting.
• If you have experience or gifting in a certain area, consider if it could be an activity at Dominion.

• Neighborhood Focus | Cleaning and organizing kitchen, VBS prep, yard work, furniture.

Greer Relief | Provide food pantry donations and help organize donations. Greer Relief has several events throughout the year where volunteers are needed as well. If you are interested in serving or would like more information, visit their website or email volunteer@greerrelief.org.

Senior Honor | Be part of hosting a Sunday morning church service at Brookdale Brushy Creek. 

Foster and Adopt | Provide meals for families with new placements. 

Sunday Dinner with a Twist | Provide meals for the homeless community through shopping, cooking, and packaging meals.
