College Students Gather for NEXT Retreat 2026

Grace NEXT is a ministry specifically geared toward college and college-aged students seeking a supportive community rooted in the local church. Our Anderson and Powdersville campuses are located near several universities and colleges, giving them a unique opportunity to disciple the young adults attending their services. This month, nearly 60 participants in our NEXT ministry gathered at Pine Cove for a retreat!

Over the two-day retreat, these young folks worked through the book of 2 Timothy—diving deeply into the definition of discipleship, unpacking what true discipleship looks like, discussing what it takes to live the life of a disciple, and asking themselves, “Do I want to do this?”

“It was raining much of the weekend, but we made the most of it! Along with the teaching sessions, we sang together, ate together, and played lots of games in front of the warm fireplace. It was a great weekend overall.”—Tanner C.
