Celebrating 30 Years!
It is with humble gratitude that we had the opportunity to celebrate 30 years of Grace Church all month long! In celebration of this milestone, we took some time to reflect on God’s faithfulness and provision over the decades—we celebrated our shared history across our campuses, heard personal stories from some of our members, and spent some time remembering how it all started.

The first service of Grace Church was held in June 1995 at the Merritts’ home in downtown Easley—born out of a desire to bring Ephesians 4 to life. From that grassroots beginning, we have sought to walk out Paul’s instruction to the early church by providing expositional teaching, contemporary worship reflecting Scripture, and group discipleship here in the Upstate. Through all the growth, our mission of making disciples has never wavered, and we are so grateful for God’s kindness and provision to our church over the past 30 years.
We marked this milestone in some fun and meaningful ways. Across our campuses, interactive lobby displays invited folks to add their names to a shared timeline, contributing to our collective story. A few of our members also shared personal messages of gratitude through short video clips. And in a special podcast episode, Scott Mozingo sat down with Matt and Vicki Williams, Bill White, and Tom Merritt to reflect on how it all began.
No matter when your personal faith story intersected with the story of Grace Church, we are so grateful for each one of you! To check out the timeline, watch the videos, or listen to the special podcast episode, click below.
