Our We Choose ministry initiative is shaped by our Core Values, the foundational pillars of discipleship. It also represents the strategic way we budget, allocate, discuss, raise, and spend resources in a manner that will help us accomplish the mission God has given us. We are excited to share these updates of how we have seen discipleship in the context of community flourish through our current We Choose plan.

We are celebrating that over the past two weekends, over 800 students, leaders, volunteers, and staff attended the Forge retreats at Pine Cove! These weekends were full of energy and a meaningful time of worship, teaching, recreation, and community for our high school students.

National Assisted Living Week was earlier this fall, and all our campuses showed support to their Senior Honor Partners. Each campus partners with at least one assisted living facility, and this was a unique opportunity to care not only for the residents, but for the staff who care for them.

This fall, we are excited to kick off a new offering for our married couples—Thrive Marriage Experience. While many of our members have been through re|engage, we have found that whether you have a healthy marriage or feel a bit disconnected, every marriage needs support to prevent “the drift” that tends to happen in our busy and broken world.

This summer, our Ezer ministry launched a new study—Seven Arrows: Studying Philippians Together. Over 500 women participated in the study this summer, and many more are going through it this fall.

Over the past two years, we have been dedicating our times together during Night of Prayer to learning about the Lord’s Prayer. This past month, we ended the Teach Us to Pray series by focusing on the phrase, “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”
