In a world characterized by violent abuse and seduction, our only hope is the return of Jesus as King. In that day, he will render judgment with his word, and there will be both soaring joy and unbridled despair. This reality should drive our faithfulness today.

  1. Can you think of a time when you struggled to forgive an injustice towards yourself or a loved one? How can the promise of God’s wrath free you in these situations?

  2. Take some time to reflect on God’s coming judgment. How should the reality of God’s wrath shape your life today?

  3. God calls us to persuade others through the gospel. In what ways is this challenging for you? Who in your life needs the gospel?
