Money is not neutral—it carries a spiritual power that can either draw us closer to God or pull us away from him. In this class, we will explore how money influences our hearts and lives, revealing its ability to provide comfort, security, status, and identity—things that should ultimately be found in our relationship with God. Jesus spoke often about money, not because it was inherently evil, but because of the grip it can have on our spiritual lives. Together, we will examine how to steward money in a way that aligns with God’s Kingdom, breaking free from its potential to control us and instead using it as a tool for his purposes.
