Father-Son Retreat Recap

As our parents equip and disciple the next generation of believers, we are grateful for opportunities to come alongside them in new ways! Last month, around 20 members from our Greer and Spartanburg campuses gathered together for a father-son retreat. Their time away was focused on connecting with one another, discipling their sons with intentionality, and hearing biblical truths about God’s design for masculinity.

Fathers and sons enjoyed stepping outside their usual routines for a weekend of fellowship through activities like pickleball and putt-putt. Leaders helped to cast vision for our young men through teachings on relevant biblical topics, such as the Value of Masculinity, Sexual Brokenness, and Self-Forgetfulness. One leader shared this about his experience:

“All the feedback so far has been very positive. Dads and sons have expressed how it was extremely helpful to have space to connect without distractions and that the teachings provided some language and conversation starters.”
