National Assisted Living Week 2026
Each of our campuses partners with an assisted living facility, and we recently had the opportunity to show extra love for these Senior Honor Partners by celebrating National Assisted Living Week. While our campuses care for and serve staff and residents in various ways throughout the year—hosting Sunday worship services, visiting residents, helping with special events, and more—National Assisted Living Week is a special time to focus on staff and offer them encouragement.

Volunteers jumped in and came alongside their partner communities in many creative and meaningful ways, such as:
- Praying over staff and residents
- Worshiping together
- Encouragement through flowers, balloons, handwritten cards, and yard signs
- Filling break rooms with snacks and drinks
- Handing out thoughtful gift bags
- Providing ice cream sundaes, homemade cookies, and other baked goods
- Hosting a Hollywood star-themed social
- Serving a catered meal for staff

A staff member at The Woodlands at Furman shared:
Oh my goodness, thank you so, so much for celebrating us with food, flowers, candy, and balloons. Everyone said to tell the team, 'Wow!' What a kind blessing to us all!
We are thankful for all the work and love that went into National Assisted Living Week! It’s our prayer that even these small acts of kindness help show the love of Jesus as our church body remains connected to the elderly.
