Foster And Adopt

Supporting Greenville DSS | Spring 2026

The Taylors campus bustled with activity as our Outreach team recently hosted the annual DSS Spring Fling! This exciting training day supports our local foster and adopt community—serving over 100 case workers through instruction and connection, with more than 70 agencies available for face-to-face conversations. The Spring Fling plays an important role in sharing resources, fostering discussion, and providing insight into the services available to our hard-working local DSS folks.

“We see this as a meaningful way to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community,” says Foster & Adopt Advisor Beth Drake. “Our desire is to be a group of believers who not only speak about love and service but also actively come alongside both the staff and the families they serve.” This year’s Spring Fling offered training on injuries, CPR, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), along with a vendor walk of agencies, a tour of the Resource Center, and an opportunity to share about all of our available Care ministries and re:gen.

We are grateful to the many volunteers who helped make this event a success and for the pleasure of supporting the important work of our DSS community. Please join us in prayer as we lift up our local foster and adopt families and staff. If you’d like to learn more about our Foster & Adopt ministry and how you can get involved, click below.
