Wisdom and Obedience

Our responsibility with wisdom involves listening and remembering what we hear as we go through the course of life. A wise person isn’t merely someone who has information; they are someone who uses that information in life.
When we see a need to change course in our lives, there is inertia in our life choices that we have to overcome. It takes effort to make change.
True obedience is more "path" and less "box." It’s a way of life centered on following the direction Jesus leads. It’s less about a checklist we routinely perform.
We know we're on the right path when our obedience is unrestrained. We'll do whatever Jesus asks of us.

Do I have areas in my life where I have walled off what Jesus can do?
Do I have areas of security and comfort that I protect from anything Jesus might ask of me? What in my life stands in the way of following Jesus?
